Elementary Principal
Rutland CCSD 230 is seeking a dedicated school leader with strong organizational and communication skills to serve as our elementary school principal (K-8). The ideal candidate will have the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and the school community while fostering a positive and inclusive school culture. Rutland Grade School is committed to nurturing the whole child—supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth to prepare them for future success. The principal's primary responsibility is to empower and support our staff, providing the leadership and resources they need to guide and inspire students in a dynamic K-8 learning environment.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate must have an Illinois Professional Educator License with general administrative endorsement, including successful completion of the Illinois Performance Evaluation - Teacher Evaluation Training prior to the start of the 2025-26 school year.
Salary/Benefits

Rutland CCSD 230 is a rural K-8 elementary school district with a steady enrollment of 65-75 students K through 8 (average class size of 8 students) just outside of the city limits of Ottawa, IL within the boundaries of Ottawa Twp. High School District 140.
Rutland Grade School is located in beautiful Starved Rock Country, less than 20 miles from LaSalle-Peru, only 28 miles from Oswego, less than 30 miles from Minooka, 40 miles from Joliet, and 40 miles from DeKalb.

School Bus Driver
Part-time, substitute driver
morning routes 7:30 - 8:45
afternoon routes 3:00 - 4:00 (most days)
every Tuesday 2:15 - 3:15
approximately once a month 11:30 - 12:30
No experience required. CDL training provided to obtain all required licensing, and all required training provided at no cost to you.
Qualifications
21 years of age (or older) with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid license for at least 3 consecutive years with an exceptional driving record.
Must provide a copy of your Illinois certified driving record upon request.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screening, background check, and TB testing.
Skills necessary to operate a school bus safely, communicate effectively, follow determined schedule in a timely manner, handle emergency situations, evacuations, and administer first aid if necessary.

Qualifications
To function as a substitute teacher, a person must possess a valid substitute, early childhood, elementary, secondary, or special certificate.
Anyone substitute teaching after must have a Substitute Teacher Authorization issued by the Regional Office of Education (ROE 35 - - 119 W Madison Street, Suite 102 , Ottawa, IL - - Phone: 815-434-0780).
Salary / Compensation
Full Day - $125
M, W, Th, F - 8:40-3:15 - - Full Day TUESDAY - 8:40-2:30
1/2 Day - $65
8:40-12:00 - or - 12:00-3:15
Approximately 6 to 8 home games per year (we do not travel to cheer at away games) .
Practices may begin the third week of October, the season ends in mid-December.
Qualifications
Willingness to work positively with 5th and 6th grade students while teaching the fundamentals of school sports cheer.
The candidate must comply with public school employee requirement, including background check and some additional relevant trainings.
