School Office Administrative Assistant- 2024-25 school year
Duties
Maintains effective and efficient function of the daily operations in the school's main office by managing daily office traffic, mail, phone calls, and electronic communications. Provide clerical, secretarial, and administrative assistance to school Superintendent and Principal. This also includes working with staff, parents, and students, assure all students are getting support in and out of the classroom during the school day by providing a broad array of services for students, parents, teachers, and staff.
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
Successful experience in school office management preferred
Has a love of supporting the needs of and working with students
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and can effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff
Proficient with Google Apps, Microsoft Office, other cloud-based applications, and office equipment (copier, fax, phones, intercom)
Proficient with data management systems and analysis
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Rutland Grade School is located in beautiful Starved Rock Country, less than 20 miles from LaSalle-Peru, only 28 miles from Oswego, less than 30 miles from Minooka, 40 miles from Joliet, and 40 miles from DeKalb.

Speech Language Pathologist - Part-Time - 2024-25 school year
Rutland Grade School is looking for a part-time SLP for our small, rural K-8 elementary school district (steady enrollment of 65-75 students Kdg through 8)
Our SLP currently is in the building twice a week.
Salary is negotiable, based on experience and qualifications, and not tied to a teacher salary schedule.
Qualifications
Illinois Professional Educators Licensure (PEL) with Speech and Language Pathologist endorsement(s)
Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (preferred)
Experience with providing speech and language services in school settings and programs. Knowledge of assistive and instructional technology is desired. Understanding and experience with a variety of disabilities and student needs is preferred.

School Bus Driver
Bus driver for the 2024-25 school year *(part-time substitute driver for 2023-24 school year currently available)
morning routes 7:30 - 8:45
afternoon routes 3:00 - 4:00 (most days)
every Tuesday 2:15 - 3:15
approximately once a month 11:30 - 12:30
No experience required. CDL training provided to obtain all required licensing, and all required training provided at no cost to you.
Qualifications
21 years of age (or older) with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid license for at least 3 consecutive years with an exceptional driving record.
Must provide a copy of your Illinois certified driving record upon request.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screening, background check, and TB testing.
Skills necessary to operate a school bus safely, communicate effectively, follow determined schedule in a timely manner, handle emergency situations, evacuations, and administer first aid if necessary.
